Brooklyn, NY – This year, CKitchen will be awarding one scholarship to a student pursuing a college education. The $5,000 prize can be used to help finance the student’s full-time study at any accredited institution they choose.

Because the scholarship is merit-based, applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0. Any student who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident is eligible. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a college for fall of 2019 or spring of 2020.

Students must fill out an application form, write 500-700 words on a topic of their choice, and provide a copy of their transcript. Applications for the fall of 2019 scholarship must be submitted by August 20th. A panel of judges will review the applications, and the winner will be awarded by August 25th.
